EN 16931 compliant

ZUGFeRD & XRechnung

Germany's e-invoicing standards, built into every invoice. Invoice.app produces a ZUGFeRD PDF with embedded EN 16931 data on every sale, plus standalone XRechnung XML for public-sector clients — generated, validated, and ready to send from the app.

Formats & standards

Every e-invoice is built on the official European and German specifications — and validated before it leaves the app.

One hybrid file

Every invoice you send is a PDF/A-3 with the full EN 16931 invoice embedded as XML. Your client sees a normal PDF; their accounting software reads the structured data — no second file to manage.

XRechnung for the public sector

When a client has a Leitweg-ID (routing ID), Invoice.app also produces a standalone XRechnung 3.0 XML — the format required for invoicing German federal, state, and municipal bodies (B2G).

Validated before it's sent

Each e-invoice is checked against the official EN 16931 and KoSIT XRechnung rule sets (Schematron) inside the app. If something doesn't conform, you know before your client does.

One switch, then automatic

Turn on e-invoicing once for your German company. From then on, every sales invoice and credit memo carries a compliant e-invoice — nothing extra to click.

Corrections done right

Correction invoices carry the full corrected values and a reference to the original document, exactly as the ZUGFeRD and XRechnung correction model requires.
